About Retatrutide
RT-GLP3 is our coded name for Retatrutide (Eli Lilly LY3437943, widely shortened to Reta), an investigational triple-receptor research peptide that activates the GIP, GLP-1 and glucagon receptors in a single molecule — a third receptor beyond what dual agonists like tirzepatide target, and the mechanism researchers credit for the compound's results in trials to date.
In the Phase 3 TRIUMPH-4 trial reported December 2025, the 12 mg dose produced 28.7% mean body-weight loss at 68 weeks — the highest figure yet reported in a Phase 3 obesity trial. Three further TRIUMPH readouts are expected through 2026.

What this compound has not been shown to do
Retatrutide remains investigational and is not FDA-approved for any indication. TRIUMPH-4 reported a dose-dependent dysesthesia signal (abnormal skin sensation) in 20.9% of participants at the 12 mg dose, not seen in the earlier Phase 2 trial, and adverse-event discontinuation (18.2% at 12 mg) higher than published rates for tirzepatide or semaglutide. The trial population studied was adults with obesity and knee osteoarthritis. We'd rather you read that in the source data than hear it from us first.

Once reconstituted, keep at 2–8 °C and use within 35 days.
Never freeze a reconstituted vial — a frozen solution is spoiled.
Reconstitution
- Let the vial reach room temperature before opening — cold glass pulls condensation.
- Swab the stopper. Use bacteriostatic water, or acetic acid where the compound calls for it.
- Run the solvent slowly down the inside wall, never onto the powder.
- Swirl gently. Do not shake — agitation shears the peptide.
- Let it stand 5–10 minutes until fully in solution before drawing.
- Refrigerate at 2–8 °C immediately once reconstituted.
- Never freeze it. Below 0 °C the solution is spoiled — discard the vial.
