Studied for
- Melanocortin receptor (MC3R/MC4R) agonism research
- Subjective sexual arousal and desire measures in randomised controlled trials
- Central nervous system melanocortin-pathway research
A typical dose referenced in published research literature is 1.75 mg, self-administered subcutaneously as needed before activity — the dose evaluated in the Phase 3 RECONNECT trials.

Third-party testing
A manufacturer's own purity figure is not independent verification. Every batch we sell is tested by an independent laboratory before it is offered.
Certificate of Analysis is on file for every batch and available on request.
What the literature actually says
Independent published research on this material. We link to the source rather than summarising it.
- 2022Prespecified and Integrated Subgroup Analyses from the RECONNECT Phase 3 Studies of Bremelanotide — J Womens Health
- 2019Bremelanotide: First Approval — Drugs
- 2006An effect on the subjective sexual response in premenopausal women with sexual arousal disorder by bremelanotide (PT-141), a melanocortin receptor agonist — J Sex Med
What this blend has not been shown to do
The RECONNECT trials studied a specific approved dosing schedule under medical supervision in a defined patient population. That is not the same context as unsupervised research use, and the literature does not speak to outcomes outside it.

Reconstitution
- Let the vial reach room temperature before opening — cold glass pulls condensation.
- Swab the stopper. Use bacteriostatic water, or acetic acid where the compound calls for it.
- Run the solvent slowly down the inside wall, never onto the powder.
- Swirl gently. Do not shake — agitation shears the peptide.
- Let it stand 5–10 minutes until fully in solution before drawing.
- Refrigerate at 2–8 °C immediately once reconstituted.
- Never freeze it. Below 0 °C the solution is spoiled — discard the vial.
